Indian External Affairs Minister arrives to attend SCO Summit
ISLAMABAD: Indian Minister of External Affairs, Subrahmanyam Jaishankar, arrived on Tuesday to participate in the twenty-third session of the Council of Heads of Government (CHG) of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO).

Children dressed in traditional costumes presented bouquets to the foreign dignitaries. A red carpet was laid out to greet the guests, highlighting the significance of the event and the friendly relations between the two countries.
The two-day meeting of the SCO CHG, which is the second highest platform within the SCO, will be led by Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, who is the current chair of the Council.
Pakistan took over the rotating chair of the SCO CHG for 2023-24 at the previous meeting held in Bishkek on October 26, 2023, where the country was represented by the then interim Foreign Minister Jalil Abbas Jilani.
