KARACHI – Humaira Asghar is another actress who dies days ago and her body was found from her flat in Karachi.
Ayesha Khan – another actress was also found dead in Karachi Apartment. She was a well-known actress in classic PTV dramas like Afshan, Aroosa, and Bisaat-e-Dil, and died at age of around 84.

Police have discovered the decomposed body of actress Humaira Asghar now from her flat in Karachi’s DHA, according to The Express Tribune.
Her tragic end has sparked a debate over the social media how the Pakistani entertainment industry overlooks its forgotten stars.
Humaira Rose to Fame, Then Vanished
Humaira Asghar had earned recognition through serials like Zinda Dil in 2014 and several commercial campaigns. But after 2020, her appearances had declined a little bit as she had been living alone in Karachi and reportedly had no recent work or close public interactions.
Express Tribune in a feature “The rot within Pakistani showbiz” reported how the people had not noticed this isolation for so long.
After news of her death went viral, celebrities such as Humayun Saeed and Mishi Khan had posted condolences on social media. However, many online users have questioned the industry’s silence during her disappearance.
“Where was the fraternity when she needed support?” asked one user on Instagram.
Sindh’s Culture Minister, Syed Zulfiqar Ali Shah, has confirmed the government would manage Humaira’s burial. He also ruled out rumors that she died without heirs. He said that the government had found out her legal family.
This has dismissed early reports that she died “unclaimed” and alone that had added another layer of confusion to the story.
Humaira’s story isn’t just about personal tragedy but it has underscores systemic flaws.
