How to Apply for Green E-Taxi Scheme 2025
The Punjab government has launched the Green E-Taxi Scheme 2025, offering unemployed youth the chance to own eco-friendly taxis through affordable instalments. Here’s how eligible applicants can apply.
The scheme’s application process is entirely online. Candidates must first visit the official portal and register using their CNIC and mobile number. After OTP verification, applicants will select their city and preferred vehicle type—electric or hybrid.
Next, all required documents must be uploaded. These include CNIC, valid driving licence, domicile certificate or utility bill, bank account details, and a passport-sized photograph. Those applying for multiple vehicles may also need to provide NTN or business credentials.
Once the application is submitted, the verification process begins. Approved candidates will be asked to complete simple banking formalities before receiving a delivery schedule for their vehicles.

Eligibility requirements are straightforward: applicants must be Pakistani citizens with Punjab domicile, aged 21–45, and part of low-income groups. Individuals with criminal records or high incomes may be disqualified.
The payment structure is designed for affordability, featuring low down payments, interest-free monthly instalments, and full ownership rights at the end of the payment cycle.
The government has urged candidates to apply early. The final deadline will be announced via the official portal.
With 1,100 taxis being offered in the first phase—including 30 reserved for women—the scheme is expected to create jobs and promote clean transport across Punjab.
