Govt to launch Economic Tranformation Plan tomorrow
ISLAMABAD: Minister for Planning and Development Ahsan Iqbal announced that the National Economic Transformation Plan for the next five years will be launched tomorrow.
He made this statement during the passing out ceremony of the officers from the 47th Specialized Training Program of the Pakistan Administration Service in Lahore .
He explained that the transformation plan is based on several key factors that need to be addressed and accomplished if Pakistan aims to develop and progress in the future.
He emphasized that Pakistan must focus its resources on fostering an export-oriented economy and prioritize sectors like e-commerce, automation, nanotechnology, and artificial intelligence, as these are set to redefine future economies.
He further noted that Pakistan will need to integrate its human resources with emerging technologies.
Iqbal urged civil servants to fully utilize their skills and expertise to better manage public issues, stressing that civil service is not just a job but a significant responsibility.
