Govt launches IT skills program for youth: Ahsan
LAHORE: The government has introduced a plan to equip 200,000 young individuals with IT skills annually.
This was announced by Federal Minister for Planning and Development Ahsan Iqbal during a ceremony in Lahore.

The Minister also emphasized that Pakistan’s art, culture, and heritage can be showcased globally as a brand by harnessing the creativity of the younger generation.
Later, speaking to journalists about the ongoing political discussions, Ahsan Iqbal highlighted that the government is making every effort to ensure the success of these talks.
In response to a question, he remarked that Pakistan is once again grappling with the challenge of terrorism due to the policies of the former PTI government. However, he expressed confidence that the government will successfully address and defeat terrorism, just as it did between 2013 and 2017.
Addressing another query regarding Afghanistan, the Minister asserted that the Pakistan Army is fully capable of delivering an effective response to any threats from across the border.
