He shared these remarks on Friday while presiding over a meeting of the Advisory Committee on the Release of IMT Spectrum aimed at enhancing next-generation mobile broadband services in Pakistan.
The meeting addressed various matters and evaluated the progress made by the US-based consultancy firm NERA, engaged by the Pakistan Telecommunication Authority.
The minister highlighted the government’s commitment to strengthening connectivity and upgrading the nation’s digital infrastructure. He noted that this initiative would facilitate widespread adoption of advanced digital technologies and innovative solutions, contributing to cross-sector socio-economic progress, economic transformation, and the attainment of sustainable development goals.
