Govt committee hands over reply to charter of demand to NA speaker
ISLAMABAD: Government committee has handed over reply to charter of demand to speaker National Assembly (NA).
No categorical refusal was made regarding formation of Judicial Commission (JC).
Government has proposed to give status of parliamentary committee to the committee which is working under speaker NA.Govt negotiation committee members meet PM, apprise him of all the situation
NA speaker office sources told Online government has handed over written reply to PTI demands in connection with negotiations between government and PTI.
As per sources government mentioned the circumstances under which the commission can be formed. Those causes were also mentioned under which the commission cannot be formed.
Reference was given to legal and constitutional points.
Government proposed to form special committee or parliamentary committee as substitute to judicial commission.
Government proposed to give status of parliamentary committee to the committee working under speaker NA.
Government demanded of PTI to provide list of missing persons.
Government committee gave reference to legal and judicial decisions about release of PTI founder and other prisoners.
It was said in the reply government has not raised any question over their bail or release from courts.
NA speaker or government will not make the reply public just now.
Prime Minister (PM) Shehbaz Sharif was informed about all the situation..
NA speaker Ayyaz Sadiq is in favor of maintaining the committee while government wants to abolish it after January 31.
