Gold rates increase by Rs.1,000 to Rs.273,600 per tola

ISLAMABAD: The price of 24-karat gold per tola rose by Rs.1,000, reaching Rs.273,600 on Wednesday, compared to Rs.272,600 on the previous trading day, according to the All Sindh Sarafa Jewellers Association.Gold rates remain unchanged at Rs.273,200 per tola

The price of 10 grams of 24-karat gold increased by Rs.857, rising to Rs.234,568 from Rs.233,711, while the price of 10 grams of 22-karat gold went up to Rs.215,021 from Rs.213,711.

Both per tola and per ten-gram silver were sold at the current rates of Rs.3,350 and Rs.2,872.08, respectively.

The price of gold in the international market rose by $10, moving from $2,614 to $2,624, the Association reported.
