Islamabad: Gold prices in Pakistan have surged sharply on Monday in line with the fluctuation in the global market.
The All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA) has revealed new prices of gold.
Silver Prices per tola jumped by Rs43 to Rs3,425.
Gold rate per tola up by Rs7,800 at Rs350,000.
10-gram gold up by Rs6,687 and reached Rs300,068.
International gold prices jumped and reached $3,316 per ounce. It included a $20 premium, which was up $76 in a single day.
The price of gold has witnessed an increase in international price that would also impact on price of gold in Pakistan. The price of gold surged to $3272 per ounce, which stood around $3239.42 USD according to international market data for May 4, 2025.
According to Foundation Research, Market statistics revealed that gold is being traded at $3266.05 per ounce, showing a slight increase in price of +30.21 and a percentage change of +0.93% against the previous session.
If we look at the weekly change, the Gold price has surged by +62.17, registering a +1.94% rise.
On May 4, 2025, the price of gold in Pakistan had witnessed a decline, and the rates for 24 Karat gold per tola stood at Rs 342,200 per tola and Per 10 Grams at Rs 293,381.Gold Prices in Pakistan Today-May 2,2025
The price of gold has been fluctuating throughout the year. In Pakistan, the per tola rate for 24 Karat gold stood at Rs 345,800 by the end of April 2025 (April 30th), which was around $3276.
In mid-April 2025 (April 16th), the rate of gold amounted to Rs 348,000 per tola for 24 Karat gold in Pakistan.
The international gold price amounted to $3089-$3117 USD per ounce by the end of March 2025 (March 30th/31st). In Pakistan, the price of 24 Karat gold surged to a high of Rs 325,700 per tola.
During mid-March 2025 (March 14th/17th), the price in the international market briefly broke through $3000 USD per ounce. At the end of January 2025 (January 31st), the price of gold in the international market was priced around $2796 USD per ounce. In Pakistan, the per tola gold rate for 24 Karat gold stood at Rs 287,450 earlier in January.
