Gold Prices Up By Rs 300 Per Tola

ISLAMABAD: Gold prices have increased by Rs 300 per tola in Pakistan on Wednesday due to fluctuation in global market.

The price of gold per tola have increased by Rs300 to settle at Rs354,665, the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA) has revealed.

The price of 10-gram gold also was up by Rs258 to reach Rs304,068. The gold price had slashed by Rs3,800 per tola a day earlier, that closed at Rs354,365.

Global gold prices also witnessed an increase and reached $3,330 per ounce with a premium of $20. It reflected a $3 increase during the session, APGJSA data showed.

Silver prices have also increased and its silver per tola jumped up by Rs26 to close at Rs3,764.

The price movement has also come amid continued global market volatility and fluctuating investor sentiment towards safe-haven assets.
