DP World, govt finalise freight corridor project

ISLAMABAD: A high-level delegation from the Dubai-based logistics company DP World, led by Sultan Ahmed Bin Sulayem, visited Pakistan under the Special Investment Facilitation Council (SIFC) platform to finalize key commercial aspects of the Freight Corridor project connecting Karachi Port to Pipri.

Discussions with all stakeholders regarding the establishment of a Multi-Modal Logistics Park in Pipri were successfully concluded under SIFC’s coordination.

As a significant outcome, a mutually agreed term sheet was signed between DP World and the relevant stakeholders, paving the way for the project’s implementation.
