ISLAMABAD:The nation’s exports rose by 13.45 percent in the initial four months of the current fiscal year compared to the same months of the previous year.

As reported by the Pakistan Bureau of Statistics, exports from July to October (2024-25) were noted at 10.880 billion dollars, up from 9.590 billion dollars in July to October (2023-24).IT exports surges to US$ 876 million in Ist quarter of FY 2024-25

Conversely, imports into the nation also increased by 5.17 percent, climbing from 16.977 billion dollars last year to 17.854 billion dollars in the first four months of the current year.

According to the data, the trade deficit during the analyzed months was recorded at 6.974 billion dollars, compared to a deficit of 7.387 billion dollars last year, reflecting a reduction of 5.59 percent.
