ISLAMABAD: The Economic Coordination Committee has sanctioned a supplementary allocation of 45 billion rupees for various defense service projects.

Additionally, the committee approved 150 million rupees for the Ministry of Climate Change and Environmental Coordination to address the needs of COP-29, which will take place in Baku, Azerbaijan, from November 11 to 22, 2024.
Furthermore, the ECC approved a hike in the price of the Anti-Rabies Vaccine from 891.65 rupees to 1980 rupees per 0.5 milliliter vial. This increase, applicable to the vaccine produced by the National Institute of Health Islamabad, was implemented to accommodate the costs of imported materials and to ensure adequate production and availability for public sector hospitals.
The committee also permitted an increase in the Special Allowance rate for employees of the Anti-Narcotics Force.
