Rupee Slightly Down as Dollar Stabilizes

KARACHI: The Pakistani rupee has depreciated slightly by 0.04 percent against the US dollar on Tuesday in the interbank market.
At close, the local currency stood at Rs281.67, recording a decline of 10 paisas from Rs281.57 prevailing on Monday.
Oil prices also went up as Brent crude jumped by 21 cents to $65.18 per barrel.
US WTI crude was up by 30 cents to $62.25, driven by optimism over the trade truce between US and China.
