Donald Trump issues number of executive orders, directives

Washington: US President Donald Trump has signed several executive orders and directives to advance his ambitious agenda.

These measures, aimed at initiating a major transformation of the federal government, include withdrawing the United States from the Paris Climate Agreement, implementing a hiring freeze for federal employees, and mandating federal workers to return to office-based work.U.S. Presidential Elections Set for Tomorrow, Tuesday.

President Trump also authorized actions that granted pardons to approximately 1,500 individuals charged in connection with the January 6, 2021, Capitol Hill attack, postponed the planned ban on TikTok, and introduced reforms to overhaul the U.S. immigration system.

Additionally, he pledged to declare a national emergency at the southern border with Mexico to address illegal immigration.

President Trump announced plans to declare a national energy emergency and reversed 78 executive actions from the Biden administration, many of which had been signed by President Biden on his first day in office.
