Finance Minister, UK’s Undersecretary discuss matters of mutual interest

ISLAMABAD: Finance Minister Muhammad Aurangzeb has expressed his commitment to strengthening ties between Pakistan and the United Kingdom.

During a discussion in Lisbon, Portugal, with British Parliamentary Undersecretary of State for the Middle East, Pakistan, and Afghanistan, Hamish Falconer, they explored areas of shared interest, including investment prospects in Pakistan’s energy, mineral, and infrastructure sectors.

Muhammad Aurangzeb highlighted the historically close and friendly relations between Pakistan and the UK, built on mutual trust and cooperation.

The meeting also acknowledged the significant role of the Pakistani diaspora in enhancing bilateral relations through strong people-to-people connections.
