ISLAMABAD: A Danish firm, FLSmidth, has shown interest in establishing a long-term partnership with Pakistan for mineral extraction.
In a statement, the company’s Chief Executive Officer, Mikko Keto, noted that FLSmidth has recognized significant opportunities within Pakistan’s geological landscape, particularly in Balochistan’s Tethyan Metallogenic Belt. The company aims to explore essential minerals needed for the energy transition and is enthusiastic about forming a lasting collaboration.
He added that the company is keen to enter into a long-term alliance to facilitate the sustainable development of Pakistan’s extensive mineral resources.
