Pakistan’s Ministry of Finance has announced in a recent announcement about a groundbreaking partnership with World Liberty Financial (WLF).
The agreement — a Letter of Intent that has been signed with the Pakistan Crypto Council is setting the stage for a bold new chapter. This ranges from blockchain innovation to the use of stablecoins and decentralized finance (DeFi) in Pakistan.

A New Chapter for Pakistan
World Liberty Financial’s delegation has recently met with Pakistan’s top leadership: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, Chief of Army Staff General Asim Munir, Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar, and other key ministers.
The message is loud and clear in these meetings that Pakistan is ready to move beyond traditional banking and will dive into the future of money.
Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar, known for his cautious approach in the past, has now expressed keen interest in promoting cryptocurrencies.
This shift really matters as it will help to boost diplomatic relations between Pakistan’s administration and Trump administration.
Secondly, Pakistan’s economy that is fueled by a young tech-savvy population, could become a hotbed for crypto innovation, especially if the right environment is given.

While the stage is set for crypto as it is still technically illegal in Pakistan. The current government is going to set the direction. Meetings, advisors, and agreements with some of the biggest names in crypto have signaled one thing that Change is coming — fast.
Pakistan has opportunity to grab the new technology that could either be a game changer or a spoiler for the youth.
