His life was devoted to serving humanity, transcending race, gender, ethnicity, and religion. His lasting legacy of charity will continue to inspire future generations. As the founder of the world’s largest private international development organization, he became a symbol of hope for the disadvantaged and vulnerable across the globe. His forward-thinking approach resulted in significant strides in education, healthcare, and poverty reduction.
We honor His Highness Prince Karim Agha Khan’s deep connection with Pakistan and reflect on his unforgettable contributions to the country’s development. We also fondly remember the contributions of his grandfather, His Highness Sultan Mohammed Shah Agha Khan, to the independence movement and the creation of Pakistan, as well as his father, His Highness Prince Aly Khan, for his service as Pakistan’s Ambassador and Permanent Representative to the United Nations, New York.
