COAS visits Balochistan

RAWALPINDI: General Syed Asim Munir, NI(M), Chief of Army Staff (COAS), traveled to Balochistan where he received a detailed briefing on the current security situation, attended by senior security and intelligence officials.

The COAS, along with the Governor and Chief Minister of Balochistan, offered prayers for the martyrs and visited the injured soldiers at the Combined Military Hospital Quetta, praising their steadfast dedication to defending the nation at all costs, as stated in an ISPR news release.Armed forces, nation determined to foil designs of enemy: COAS

The COAS emphasized that those who serve as terrorist proxies for foreign powers, skilled in the art of double-dealing and playing both sides, are well known to us. Despite the actions of these so-called “frenemies,” our proud nation and its Armed Forces will overcome them with resilience, Inshallah. For the defense of our homeland and its people, we will respond decisively and “hunt you down” whenever and wherever necessary.

The COAS also acknowledged the efforts of the brave officers and soldiers of the Army, Frontier Corps, and Law Enforcement Agencies for their courage and determination in combating terrorism. He reaffirmed the Army’s commitment to ensuring the security and welfare of the people of Balochistan, while also expressing continued support for the provincial government in fostering peace, stability, and development in the region.
