Chinese PM Li Qiang in Pakistan on four-day visit
ISLAMABAD: Chinese Premier Li Qiang received a red carpet welcome upon his arrival in Islamabad for a four-day visit to Pakistan.

This marks the first visit of a Chinese Premier to Pakistan in eleven years. Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Premier Li Qiang will hold a meeting followed by talks at the delegation level.
They will also participate in a signing ceremony for a Memorandum of Understanding related to China-Pakistan cooperation, which includes CPEC-2 and other significant projects. The ceremony will feature a virtual inauguration of Gwadar International Airport.
During his visit, Premier Li Qiang will also attend the 23rd meeting of the Council of Heads of Government of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization.
