ISLAMABAD: Chairman PTA, Major General (R) Hafeez Ur Rehman, HI (M), held a high-level meeting with Pakistan’s Ambassador to Norway, His Excellency Saadia Altaf Qazi, during his official visit to Norway to represent Pakistan in the Internet Governance Forum (IGF) 2025.

During the meeting, Chairman PTA briefed the Ambassador on Pakistan’s progressive digital regulatory landscape, highlighting PTA’s strategic focus on fostering digital inclusion, broadband penetration, and cybersecurity readiness in line with international best practices. The Ambassador appreciated PTA’s proactive role in promoting inclusive and secure digital transformation, and assured full support in fostering international engagements that reinforce Pakistan’s vision for a connected, empowered Nation.
