Welcoming Sumair Ahmad to the PCB family and expressing gratitude for Salman Naseer’s contributions, PCB Chairman Mohsin Naqvi stated:
“Sumair is an exceptional professional with proven expertise in administration and a deep understanding of the industry. We are thrilled to have him on board and are confident that under his leadership, we will continue to strengthen our administrative framework and make significant progress toward our goal of becoming a high-performing, world-class organization.
“Salman has been an exemplary leader at the PCB, contributing immensely during his tenure as COO. His experience and insight have been invaluable to the Board. On his appointment, Sumair Ahmad remarked:
“As someone who has always been passionate about Pakistan cricket, it is a great privilege for me to join this remarkable organization as COO during such exciting and pivotal times. “This organization has immense potential, and cricket is a unifying force for the people of Pakistan.
“During my time as COO, I am dedicated to helping bring the Chairman’s vision for Pakistan cricket to life. This vision includes achieving success with our national teams, improving infrastructure, creating opportunities for emerging cricketers, and ensuring strong governance. I am eager to contribute to this journey and help make a lasting impact on the sport we all hold dear.”
