Beijing hosts Pakistan Investment Conference to attract foreign investment
BEIJING: The Pakistan Investment Conference, titled ‘Together for a Shared Future,’ took place in Beijing with the goal of drawing foreign investment into various sectors within Pakistan.
The event assembled prominent members of both the Pakistani and Chinese business communities, emphasizing investment prospects in crucial sectors like agriculture, industry, ICT, and banking.
In his keynote video messages, Commerce Minister Jam Kamal Khan reiterated Pakistan’s unwavering dedication to supporting Chinese investments in the nation’s major economic sectors.
During the conference, two Memorandums of Understanding were signed between Pakistani and Chinese companies, with a combined value exceeding 350 million US dollars.
