Air Chief conferred upon Bahrain Medal-First Class

ISLAMABAD: The Deputy King of Bahrain, Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, awarded the Bahrain Medal-First Class to Air Chief Marshal Zaheer Ahmed Babar Sidhu at Sakhir Air Base in Bahrain.

The prestigious medal was presented in recognition of the Air Chief’s outstanding contributions to strengthening military ties and defence collaboration between the two allied nations.

The award ceremony was attended by senior civil and military officials from the Kingdom of Bahrain.Pakistan Air Force Martyrs’ Day Nationwide

During the Bahrain International Airshow, Lieutenant General Derek France, Commander of the Ninth Air Force (US Air Forces Central Command – AFCENT), also met with Air Chief Zaheer Ahmed Babar Sidhu. The Air Chief reaffirmed his commitment to further enhance bilateral cooperation between the two strategic partners.

Lieutenant General Derek France commended Pakistan’s efforts in promoting regional stability and expressed his intent to deepen collaboration in joint training, mutual exercises, and military-to-military cooperation.

In a separate meeting, the Air Chief also met with the Commander-in-Chief of the Bahrain Defence Force, Field Marshal Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa.
