Food Ministry, HEJ Center sign agreement to enhance agricultural yield

ISLAMABAD: The Ministry of National Food Security and Research has partnered with the HEJ International Center for Chemical and Biological Sciences at the University of Karachi to improve seed quality and boost agricultural productivity.

The agreement, signed in Karachi, was witnessed by Minister for National Food Security and Research, Rana Tanveer Hussain.

As part of the agreement, the HEJ Center will offer commercial testing facilities for pesticide ingredients and related analyses.

Speaking at the event, Rana Tanveer Hussain underscored the importance of conducting research on seed quality and standards to address the issue of substandard seed production effectively.
