ACC Reveals Schedule for Asia Cup 2025
The Asian Cricket Council (ACC) has unveiled the official schedule for the Asia Cup 2025, confirming a much-anticipated group stage match between Pakistan and India on 14 September. The tournament will be held in the United Arab Emirates from 9 to 28 September.
The event will open on 9 September with Afghanistan facing Hong Kong. Pakistan will begin their campaign against Oman on 12 September, before locking horns with India two days later. Their final group-stage match is scheduled against the UAE on 17 September.
Eight teams have been divided into two groups. Group A features Pakistan, India, Oman, and the UAE, while Group B includes Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, and Hong Kong.

Following the group matches, the top two teams from each group will progress to the Super Four round, set to be played between 20 and 26 September. The final will take place on 28 September.
This will be the third edition of the Asia Cup to be played in the T20 International format. Officials have confirmed that all matches will take place in the UAE. ACC President Mohsin Naqvi expressed his hope for a successful and memorable tournament.
Reports also indicated that the Indian government had cleared the BCCI to participate in the match against Pakistan, allowing the historic rivalry to continue on the international stage.
