ISLAMABAD: Federal Minister for Finance and Revenue, Muhammad Aurangzeb, has emphasized the importance of strong cooperation between the government and the private sector to ensure long-term economic growth.

The minister stated that public confidence in the taxation system is being rebuilt through reforms in the Federal Board of Revenue. He added that Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif is personally overseeing the implementation of these reforms.

Muhammad Aurangzeb also underscored the necessity of expanding the tax base to reduce the financial strain on the national treasury.
