Pakistan, Turkiye exchange 24 agreements, MoUs & protocols
ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif and Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan have signed a Joint Declaration at the conclusion of the 7th Session of the Pakistan-Türkiye High-Level Strategic Council, aimed at further deepening, expanding, and institutionalizing the Strategic Partnership between the two nations.

During the event, Pakistan and Türkiye exchanged 24 Agreements, Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs), and Protocols to enhance cooperation and strengthen bilateral relations across multiple sectors.
The agreements included four MoUs to enhance collaboration in the defense sector, two MoUs and a Protocol in the power, energy, and mining sectors, and three MoUs focused on promoting trade and industrial cooperation. Additionally, two agreements were signed in the fields of water and seed production, along with two MoUs in scientific education and training.
Furthermore, the two nations signed two MoUs in the banking sector, one MoU to promote bilateral cooperation in religious services and education, and another in the halal food industry. There was also an MoU aimed at strengthening collaboration in media and public relations, one in the legal sector, and another in health and pharmaceuticals. An MoU was signed to foster cooperation in the aerospace industry, while two agreements focused on cultural collaboration and co-production.
Additionally, two MoUs were exchanged by the Pakistan-Türkiye Business Forum to enhance bilateral cooperation in the business sector.
