Nation, armed forces stand together to eliminate terrorism: PM

QUETTA: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif affirmed that the nation and its armed forces are united in their resolve to eradicate terrorism from the country.

He expressed these views during his visit to CMH Quetta, where he checked on the health of security personnel who were injured while combating terrorists in Kalat and other areas of Balochistan.

While speaking with the wounded soldiers, the Prime Minister hailed them as national heroes, commending their dedication and sacrifices for the country. He emphasized that with such courageous soldiers safeguarding the nation, no adversary would dare cast a malicious glance towards Pakistan.

Shehbaz Sharif remarked that those who are spreading violence and disorder in Balochistan are enemies of the province’s development. He highlighted that security forces are working relentlessly to eliminate militants and ensure the safety of Balochistan’s residents. The malicious intentions of those who oppose peace, progress, and prosperity in Balochistan will be thwarted.

The Prime Minister was accompanied by Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar, Defence Minister Khawaja Muhammad Asif, Information and Broadcasting Minister Attaullah Tarar, and Power Minister Awais Leghari during the visit.
