Barrister Gohar: No Commission, No Photo Session with Govt

 ISLAMABAD: PTI chairman Barrister Gohar Ali Khan has said nothing has been done by the government which indicates that they have no intent  to form any commission.

” Dialogue are the best way. Talks should have been held. We sat with good intent in negotiations despite our reservations. We had initiated talks in good faith. Government did injustices with us, he said this while talking to  media men outside Judicial Complex Islamabad here.

If commission is not going to be formed with reference to  May 9 and November 26 as result of ongoing talks with government then we were not to sit with government for only “hello, hey” and photo session. Therefore, Imran Khan ended talks in view of this situation, he added.Ali Amin Gandapur Represented the Nation, Imran Khan

Despite the things Imran Khan and Bushra Bibi were convicted and sentenced, Imran Khan had announced ” we have two demands and we will hold talks on these two demands.

He held first sessions of talks was held on December 23 and then January 2 was fixed for talks. Then January 16 was announced. Now January 28  has been announced for talks.  But we had asked them on January 16 that they should announce within 7 days either they were going to constitute commission or otherwise.

He also said it was to be decided in the commission that who are judges therein. What will be its TORs. How much time it will take. What will be done.  But nothing was done from their side. No step was taken which indicates this they have no intent to form any commission.

He went on to say PTI is a political party and it was desirous of holding talks with all parties. Imran Khan started it by himself and he formed committee first of all others.
