Hayat Lak Appointed CEO OGDCL

The government has appointed Ahmed Hayat Lak as the managing Director of Oil and Gas Development Company Limited (OGDL) for three years.

The board of directors of OGDCL has accorded approval in this regard.OGDCL discovers significant gas reserves in KP

Lak has been working as acting managing director of the company for some time.
Now, board of directors has issued approval and he has been notified as permanent managing director of OGDCL.

During his tenure as acting head of OGDCL, he had taken several initiatives like drilling first tight gas well in Pakistan’s history, initiatives of optimizing oil and gas from existing fields. He had also taken initiative in issuing first sustainability report about environment for first time in public sector companies.
