PM felicitates nation as weekly inflation rate drops to 3.57%

ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has congratulated the entire nation on the decline in the weekly inflation rate, which has dropped further to 3.57 percent.

In a statement, he attributed the reduction to the efforts of the economic team, noting that this is the lowest inflation rate in the past six years. He emphasized that the price index is at its lowest level since October 4, 2018.

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif reiterated his commitment to fulfilling his promise of working relentlessly to resolve the challenges faced by the people.

He mentioned that significant measures are being taken to generate employment, promote industrial growth, and attract foreign investment to the country.

The Prime Minister highlighted that Pakistan is making rapid strides towards development following economic stabilization. He also pointed out that the increase in remittances, investment from allied countries, and the stability of diplomatic relations are indicative of the country’s progress.

He stated that the political sacrifices made for the development and prosperity of Pakistan have not gone in vain and that all stakeholders are playing their part in the nation’s development journey.
