Petrol Price Hike Likely from December 1
Islamabad: There is a possibility of an increase in petroleum product prices at the national level. According to reports, petrol prices could rise by up to 3 rupees per liter starting from December 1.
The report suggests that during the first 15 days of December, petrol could become more expensive by as much as 3 rupees per liter. Additionally, high-speed diesel may also see a price hike of up to 2 rupees and 90 paise per liter from December 1.Petrol Price Slashed by Rs10, Diesel 13 Per Liter
It is expected that the prices of kerosene oil and light diesel oil will remain unchanged. The Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) is set to send the final working report on petroleum prices to the government on November 30.
The report further states that the Ministry of Finance will consult with the Prime Minister regarding the proposed price hike, and a notification for any changes in the prices will be issued following the Prime Minister’s approval.
