Security forces kill six Khwarij at MaliKhel area of Bannu District

RAWALPINDI: Security forces neutralized six militants in the Mali Khel area of Bannu District.

According to the ISPR, the militants attempted to launch an assault on a Joint Check Post in Mali Khel. The troops successfully repelled the attack, forcing the militants to detonate an explosive-laden vehicle against the post’s perimeter wall.Pakistan Condemns Karachi Attack; Two Chinese Engineers Killed.

The suicide explosion caused a section of the perimeter wall to collapse and damaged nearby structures, leading to the martyrdom of 12 courageous personnel, including 10 soldiers of the security forces and 2 from the Frontier Constabulary.

The ISPR stated that a sanitization operation is underway in the area, and those responsible for this atrocity will be brought to justice.

The statement reaffirmed the unwavering determination of the security forces and law enforcement agencies to eradicate terrorism, emphasizing that the sacrifices of these brave individuals only strengthen their resolve.
