AKUH Hosts Diabetes Awareness Session on World Diabetes Day

ISLAMABAD: Aga Khan University Hospital (AKUH) hosted a public awareness session in observance of World Diabetes Day, providing essential information and resources to help prevent and manage diabetes.

The three-hour event included expert presentations, hands-on activities, live demonstrations, and a Q&A session with AKUH specialists. The panel stressed the importance of regular physical activity, a nutritious diet, and routine medical check-ups in controlling diabetes—a condition that can lead to various severe health complications.
