2nd T20: Australia beat Pakistan by 13 runs

Sydney: Australia defeated Pakistan in the second T20 match, taking a 2-0 lead in the three-match series.
Australia beat Pakistan by thirteen runs in the second T-20 at Sydney on Saturday securing decisive victory in three match series by two-nil.

Batting first, Australia scored one hundred and forty-seven runs for the loss of nine wickets in allotted twenty overs. In reply, Pakistan were all out at 134 runs in 19.5 overs.Pakistan Clinch Historic Win in Australia After 22 Years

The Australian team scored 147 runs for the loss of 9 wickets in their allotted 20 overs. The Australian openers displayed aggressive batting, taking the team’s score to 52 runs in the first three overs. However, Matthew Short was dismissed for 32 runs, while Jake Fraser-McGurk made 29 runs before returning to the pavilion. Captain Josh Inglis was out for a duck.

Other notable contributions came from Glenn Maxwell (21), Marcus Stoinis (14), Tim David (18), Aaron Hardie (28), and Xavier Bartlett (5 runs), who were all dismissed.
For Pakistan, Haris Rauf took 4 wickets, Abbas Afridi claimed 3, and Sufyan Maqeem sent 2 Australian batsmen back to the pavilion.

Pakistan’s first wicket fell at 12 runs when Babar Azam was dismissed for just 3 runs. After him, Sahibzada Farhan could only manage 5 runs, and Pakistan’s second player was out at 17 runs.

Captain Mohammad Rizwan was dismissed for 16 runs, leaving Pakistan’s total score at 44 runs. Shortly after, vice-captain Salman Ali Agha also went out for a duck.

Later, Usman Khan made 52 runs before being caught out, bringing Pakistan’s total to 102 runs.

Pakistan’s sixth wicket fell at 106 runs when Australian fast bowler-spinner Jonson took his 5th wicket.

Pakistan’s seventh wicket fell at 107 runs when Shaheen Shah Afridi was bowled out without scoring. Immediately after, Pakistan’s eighth player was dismissed without scoring a run either.

Naseem Shah came in at number nine, but he too was dismissed without scoring, leaving Pakistan’s total score at 127 runs.
