Condemnation of Israeli Military Strikes Against Iran

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan has firmly condemned Israel’s attacks on the Islamic Republic of Iran in the early hours of Saturday.

In a statement issued by the spokesperson of the Foreign Office, it has been said that Israeli military actions against Iran’s sovereignty and territorial integrity represent a serious breach of the UN Charter and international law.

These assaults undermine the prospects for regional peace and stability and signify a dangerous escalation in an already unstable area.

Israel is fully accountable for the current cycle of escalation and the intensification of the conflict.

We urge the UN Security Council to fulfill its duty in maintaining international peace and security and to take prompt measures to halt Israel’s reckless behavior and criminal actions in the region.

The international community must also contribute to the restoration of regional peace and security.
