Imran Khan Out of the Race for Oxford University Chancellorship
London: Imran Khan has been eliminated from the race for the chancellorship of Oxford University.
Oxford University has released a list of eligible candidates for the elections, which includes 38 contenders.

Imran Khan’s name is not included in the list of candidates for the chancellorship.
In a statement from the university administration, it was noted that for the first time, open applications were solicited, and the chancellor election committee reviewed all applications in accordance with the regulations.
The first phase of voting will take place on October 28, during which voters will be able to cast their votes. The top five candidates receiving the most votes will proceed to the second phase of voting.
Following Lord Patten of Barnes’ announcement of his retirement, the university will hold the chancellorship election through online popularity for the first time, and alumni have been invited to rank the candidates.
Among the candidates are Lord William Legg, Lord Peter Mandelson, Lady Elish Angiolini, and Dr. Margaret.
