8 Pakistanis Killed in Iran’s Sistan-Baluchistan: Islamabad Seeks Consular Access
ISLAMABAD: Eight Pakistani citizens lost their lives in a tragic incident that occurred yesterday in Mehrestan County, located in Iran’s Sistan-Baluchistan province, approximately 230 kilometers from the Pakistan-Iran border. Pakistan’s diplomatic mission has formally requested consular access to confirm the identities of the deceased.
The people and leadership of Pakistan are profoundly grieved and disturbed by this heartbreaking event. The Prime Minister has extended heartfelt condolences to the families of the victims.
