1st ODI, Pakistan defeat South Africa by 3 wickets

In the first One Day International of the three-match series, Pakistan defeated South Africa by three wickets in Paarl last night.

South Africa, batting first, scored 239 runs for the loss of nine wickets in their allotted fifty overs.

In response, Pakistan chased down the target in 49.3 overs to secure the win.
